Water softener special salt, also known as ion exchange resin regenerant. Its main chemical composition is sodium chloride (NaCl), due to the daily maintenance and resin reduction needs of the water softener, the content is required to be above 99.5%, and the general shape is ball agent.
In industrial water treatment, softening salt is used to remove hardness ions from water, ensuring that the water quality meets production requirements. Many industrial processes have strict requirements for water quality, and the use of softening salt can improve production efficiency and reduce equipment maintenance costs. • Boiler Water Treatment: In boiler systems, softening salt reduces water hardness, thereby decreasing the formation of scale and improving the thermal efficiency of the boiler, which in turn extends the boiler’s service life. • Membrane Regeneration: In the regeneration process of reverse osmosis membranes and ion exchange membranes, softening salt is used to clean and restore the performance of the membranes, thereby extending their service life.
